The frequency of testing varies between workplaces, depending on factors such as the level of risk involved and the environment in which the equipment is used. In most cases, businesses only require yearly inspections. However,some workplaces, especially those with high-risk environments, may need more frequent testing, ranging from daily to monthly.
Make sure your test and tag technician is aware of the time frames outlined in Table 4 of AS/NZS 3760. By doing so,you can ensure that your workplace complies with safety requirements. The test and tag process involves 4 core steps:
- First, perform a visual and physical inspection of the appliance.
- Next, electrically test the appliance to ensure its safety.
- Then, record the outcomes of the inspection and testing process.
- Finally, tag the appliance to indicate its compliance and safety status.
All test and tag bookings can be arranged during office hours, from 8:00 am to 5:30 pm, Monday to Friday. For example,you can easily schedule your appointment through our online booking system. However, if you require inspections outside these hours, special requests can be made by emailing info@gtestandtag.com.au or through our contact form.
We can make arrangements to visit your business outside of these hours or on the weekend, ensuring minimal disruption to your workplace. Please note that pricing for this service differs from our standard rates.
